Yes I did! And we got a spot! We sat for two hours this afternoon at the school to watch the registration unfold and i'm even more convinced it's the right school for us. Hi all.


The school that we registered our twin boys at - Temasek Primary - is severely oversubscribed (81 applicants for 34 vacancies).

We are SCs within 1km of Temasek but I think the chance of balloting is high. Our 2nd choice was St Stephen’s (>2km) but it is 91% filled after today (19 vacancies left for 2CS) so if we are not successful with Temasek, doubt if we should try.

Our 3rd choice is Bedok Green (<1km) and the numbers look healthy enough (64 applicants for 164 vacancies).

I would like to ask if anyone can share about Bedok Green as we don’t know anyone with kids studying there. Only have info from their website, and can’t seem to find much fm KSP too. Would like to know how the school is academically (e.g. passing rates for PSLE), how the teachers are (supportive? caring?), and whether any parent has had any negative experiences with the school.

Also grateful if anyone has suggestions on alternative schools that we should consider which we may have missed out.

Yes, if we end up in 2CS, my intent is to register on the last day and monitor the numbers at St. Stephen's. Hopefully the staff will be helpful and transparent. I really like this school actually and contemplated going for it at 2C. But given that Temasek is a good school and is so near our place, we decided it's worth a shot at the ballot. Fingers crossed! :xedfingers:

If my memory works well, I happened click the MOE website, there is a section to provide comments to school , Teachers etc, from the TOP, there are a Lot of positive comment about Teachers (with names) in this school, and I was at that time wondering whether the school starts with “c” so that is why the comments to this school is on the TOP?
I didn’t scroll down to check but that is what I saw from MOE website

No, even if you don't need balloting and are safe, the official sms from. MOE will be sent next wed 8 Aug abt 8am in the morning. Some schools may call personally to inform you are in. But I didn't get any call during my phase 2b (no balloting) just the offical sms and the same day I received the offical letter from the school

On the result date given by moe? Or later date ?

SMS will be sent on 8 Aug morning, that's the date given by MOE
