I thought there is already an article in strait time today about the 99 school that need to ballot. Did they list the schools? I didn’t have time to read

On the result date given by moe? Or later date ?

SMS will be sent on 8 Aug morning, that's the date given by MOE

Yes, MOE will update for all schools which categories will go into balloting. SC within 1km, SC 1km-2km, etc...

Bedok green currently have 100 open spaces. There is little chance it will be full.

This might not be true for this year, especially since Bedok Green is the only school within 1KM that still has vacancies left for Phase 2CS. The other schools within the same area like Fengshan, RSS, Yu Neng and Temasek have all been oversubscribed in Phase 2C. This will end up as the most likely back-up plan for folks who are within the 1KM range. I am in a similar situation, but I am looking at other options > 2KM as well.

Temasek ~ 46

Yup.
In any other year, ~100 places remaining after Phase 2C may seem like a safe bet that some seats will still remain after Phase 2Cs but this year isn't any other year.
Moreover, the rule of the thumb for Phase 2CS (in any year) has always been \"avoid balloting\". Once you enter into a ballot, you are basically surrendering your control, be it to the computer or some unnamed official in MOE.

Ah... thanks! There is indeed a looooong list of compliments for individual teachers at Cedar. Wonder if the school 'actively encouraged' parents to submit compliments or if some extremely passionate parent support group initiated it...
