Anyone's child with Cherie Hearts @ Eng Kong? It is a new centre and i would like to find out more informations
My child was with Cherie Hearts Learners' Cove but unfortunately it has to cease operations due to the landlord wanted to sell the house. Currently, my child is with another childcare at west coast but she is not happy there, we can sense that she is not as bubbly and cheerful like before so we are looking around for another school.
Appreciate if anyone can share

Just an update,
Visited the centre last saturday and met up with the branch director, Mr Andy Teo. The school is very clean, spacious and cosy with 3 levels. Level 1 is play area with both indoor and outdoor play. Level 2 is for playgroup kids and level 3 is for nursery, k1 and k2.
Andy told me that right now they only have less than 20 kids so most of the time, all will be at level 2 since it is the common area and is very spacious. Talking to him, i can feel his passion and sincerity. He mentioned he had a good team of experienced teachers. They are starting a school bus service also which is good.
I think will drop by again during the weekdays to have a feel of the place with kids and teachers. One of my shortlisted place
Hope it helps those looking for a childcare centre around the area. -

Did you check on the curriculum? Some of the 'branded' childcare, the curriculum suck. Thinking of changing my kid cc.Just an update,

But nevertheless, to me....
Best childcare = curriculum good and teachers good.
Good childcare = curriculum suck but teachers good.
Good childcare = curriculum good but teachers no good.
Hopeless = curriculum no good and teachers no good. -
Denbel, i'm visiting the centre too this coming weekend. Where else have you shortlisted? I'll be visiting the one at Chervons as well. Need a centre that's located along the way from my home to my workplace because it is quite impossible for me to reach my home by 7pm! I've spoken to Andy as well and he did sound very nice. Did he mention if we can have trial classes?
I'll certainly be dropping by again on a weekday to observe how the teachers interact with the children... -

cherie hearts in bishan (garden of joy) has good teachers but its really too expensive and not worth the monies. For the price of $900++, i expected teachers with degree but most are ony diplomas grad. school amenties and food really sucks. There is 1 teacher taking up 3 roles , supervisor, branch director and teaching k2 in the same centre.hi,

from what i understand, only the very premium child care centers have teachers who are degree holders e.g. Chiltern House or Pat School House. even so, it is not all teachers and likely a lesser percentage.
their school fees are prob close or above $1.5k a month...
