Bukit View Primary

Hi Hi, I am planning to register my boy next week.
Can I have any feedback on the school and the after school care?
TIA. -
Hi SCSS,
Yes there is homework for P1.
Hi FRKeon,
So far am quite happy with the school and the teachers… Very dedicated FTs i would say…
As for the after school care… though they have big groups of P1s and only maximum 3 guardians there… They make sure kids finish their hmwrk before doing other revisions, eg the assessment bks whh they get the parents to buy for kids to do at after school care, etc… Only downside is they dun get to shower… -

Hi, anyone knows what is the highest score for this year’s PSLE result for BUkit View Primary. I heard yesterday that it has got a 100% passing rate.

My boy is in BVPS and I have a question which I dont understand??? I had my son in the student care and I would normally pick him up around 4 - 5 pm in the evening. I do not understand why the teacher’s and/or administrative staff’s spouse of the school are able to drive in and pick their wives, but not the parents whom are picking their children? I believe children would need this more than adults!!??

U can try to feedback to the P/VP

Hi busy mummy,
I agree with you, I pick my boy at abt 6+pm, and had to make a small u-turn at the gate area & park by roadside. Quite inconvenient & dangerous too.
I was told that its for the safety of the school children, but I don’t understand at that time, it’s already way past the sch hrs! -
hi applejuz, school like CHIJ, Bukit Timah… Keming, are alowed to enter. Well… if BVPS dont allow parents to drive in, I respect, BUT they should not have double standard that the teacher’s and admin staff spouse are allowed???

They only allowed parents to drive in on raining days, but other than that you got to park by the roadside. I actually once drove in and kanna chased out and scolded by this old guard. He quite rude. I did actually asked the staff at the student care centre and they said it’s better that we voice out to the general office.

i hate the double standard…
If spouse of teachers and admin staff of the school can drive in everyday…
I dont see the reason of not allowing the parents’ to enter.
