and apply for school B under phase 2C later

before making a final decision?

you have to withdraw from Sch 1 before you can register in Sch B under phase 2C

Hi, I’ve got a really stupid question to ask.


When’s the 2011 P1 registration starting? I’ve seen nothing on the MOE site and the kindergartens have not said anything.

How does the process begin? Do we get notified by post or via the kindergartens?

Experienced parents please advise. Thanks!

the kid will bring back a booklet from their kindergarten (for kid starting P1 in 2011, P1 registration will be in 2010; for kid starting P1 in 2012, registration in 2011, the kindergarten will issue the booklet in 2011 months prior to the registration).
alternatively you can go to MOE http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/ to check. usually around June/July.

Phase 1 is on 6,7 july
Phase 2A1 is on 9 july
Phase 2A2 is on 15,16 july result on 20 july
Phase 2B is on 22,23 july

My kid is suposed to start P1 next year. So far, her kindy has not given out any booklet. Any idea if the kindys have started distributing yet?

The nanny is the one taking my kid to school and my kid has missed a few days of school recently. Kinda worried if I’ve missed the excercise.

don worry i think there enough time to prepare. as for the booklet haven give out, as my my son is in the childcare i didnt see any booklet yet

Kindergartens have not distributed the book yet, so don't worry.

Anyway, you will know when the registration exercise starts if you visit this forum more often. You will be able to feel the atmosphere!

The booklet will be distributed when the website has been updated.

Anyway, it should be within this next 2 weeks, before the June holiday starts.

Don’t worry, you won’t miss the booklet.
It should be distributed latest next week b4 Vesak Day/start of June hols.
I’m waiting for my gal to come back with it too…next week, I’ll be going to her school for Parent-Teacher meeting.

I want to register my daughter as P1 for 2011 school year. Her father is a Singaporean citizen but I’m not and we are not married… She’s under PHASE 3 right?


Do we have to rent a house first before i register my daughter or I can use my relatives address for registration? Right now i’m staying with my relatives and i’m under a visit pass. Is it possible?

What will I do?
