Learning cycling

As of last month, we paid $200 for the 4 lessons.

Thats pretty affordable for a lifeskill and an aching back coupled with skinned knees.

Great info! Still will try to see if i can manage if not then guess i have to approach the specialist liao!!
The place he teaches is open public area. You can always go there and observe how he teaches, and try to duplicate it. If you can master his technique, it can become your second income!

One word of advice...space out the lessons. We saw one kid takiing his 3rd lesson in as many days. The grandma said his mother booked the coach for the 4 lessons on 4 consecutive days. The boy was crying as he was cycling! Think he developed more fear of cycling than love!

Cool! Not a bad idea at all…

oh…heehee…i was hoping to squeeze two hours in a day if I intend to let my gal take up the lessons. then no need to travel so many times.

My DD learned to ride w/o training wheels before turning 6. DH promised to teach her but never did it so eventually my dad taught her in just a few lessons. She used DS' smaller bike to learn as her feet could touch the ground, which made her feeling more secure.
I think DH is a bit jealous that he's not the one to teach her so I told him that he still had chance with DS. But no action so far. Guess eventually have to ask my dad again

hmmm…maybe i shld give it a try then…or at least get DH to do it.

Ya… who knows you can save $200 and travelling time. haha.
