PCF TB is not within walking distance to school. QMS is correct, the nearest is Cherie Hearts. I have been there but end up chosing PCF because Cherie Hearts is more of a childcare rather than BASC.

      Hi famangelina31,

Can you explain more in details why Cherie Heart is more of a childcare rather than Student Care? :?

        Hi QSM,

When i picked up my dd yesterday, i noticed that your son had this big bandage on his knee. What happened? Fell down at the zoo?

Ya lor. That clumsy boy fell down at the zoo. The last time, he fell down in school, and hurt his knee. This time round, same knee again. πŸ˜›

Poor thing! But i guessed they were very tired too. My boy \"complained\" that his legs are aching from all the walking.

It seems like a rather bad fall.

[/quote]my daughter also told me that she had to walk alot and was very tired. She couldn't keep up with the rest and so she had to buy an isotonic water to \"recharge\" (like real!) .

Sigh.. and her teacher didn't allow her to use the loo and she pee'ed a little in her pants :x

I thought they would hire a tram for the kids...

He had worse falls than this, so he's alright. 😐 Thanks for your concern.

Jen, thank you for your concern, too.

At the end of the day, who pays for this type of extras? Parents, right? They would hire if parents were willing to pay more. But, parents would complain if they were told they needed to pay more, right? In addition, the school had to consider those pupils under FAS.

Heard from my son that other schools also visited the zoo yesterday, too.

Most the area at Cherie Hearts is for childcare and only 1 room is for student care. With such a set up, it is not so conducive.

At PCF TB, they have 3 - 4 classrooms and 1 big hall. The students will congregate at the rooms to study based on their standard. The big hall gives them a space to 'play\"/relax after they have finished their work.
The only complain I have is maybe their food portions could be small. My son always complain not enough food. But then, it could be that he eats a lot as well. 😎

                    Hi QMS,

Is your boy ok now? Maybe it was raining on that day that why it could be wet. The insuracance that we purchase it is cover seem it is outside the RMPS compound?

My DS also very tired as seem like they having a road marchon the entire Zoo? Imagine 2-3 hours to cover the Zoo!
                    :!:

Thanks for your information on Cherie Heart, they are charging around $330 for 1/2 day student care. So PCF Telok Blangah is totally 100% Student Care?

                        Hi Titank!

He's fine now. Maybe trying to pretend that the wound hurts a lot so that he need not go to school. πŸ˜› πŸ˜‰

Not sure whether the insurance covers this type of injury or not. Should find out.

Surprisingly, my son didn't complain anything. Perhaps the pain from the wound overwhelmed the ache from the long walk? :scratchhead:
