I know she is sec 2.
You mentioned her sec 2 streaming is just like sitting for PSLE.

I have to learn to chill. it's been 2 months plus of madness...easier said than done. I just pulled out the folded clothes in my wardrobe, refolded and tidied the shelves. hubby is going to ask me where I've put his sleep wear tonight.

Janet, perhaps after the exam, find some mother-daughter time to talk through seriously. Maybe ask her what exactly she really wants and work out with her to get to her target and goal.

I know it is easy to say than done.
You have to learn to gradually let go bec she is going to 15 years old soon. -

she is careless for her math...missing out unit of measurement always.
she wants to take F&N (food and nutrition) while I hope she takes A math because carelessness aside, she can do well.
most importantly, I want her to follow her own target and not go with the herd because that's the dumbest thing to do. -

Let her decide bec it is her life. She has to be responsible for her decisions. -

I totally understood u.
Dh and I are more inclined to science subjects but dd decided to study humanities/arts subjects in the U.
Can u imagine the struggle in my heart?
Did she think very carefully? Is she making a wise and informed decision? Can she find a job when she graduates? Can she cope bec all along she took science subjects? etc
I can only keep telling her to think properly and carefully as there are not many 2nd chance available.
