      hercules:
During hot days, I will in alternate days make 2 litres of chrysanthemum tea or barley water daily for the family, esp for the little ones.

      Easy, cheap and good.

like the left bottom container, hercules, 400ml or bigger? Is the strainer used the normal or coffee filter?

I store water in glass containers (can take above 100 degrees heat) in my house. Think per container is about 1400 ml. During sales, can get at $9.90 from taka or isetan. The container comes in different sizes.

The sieve is a stainless steel one , about $2 (measure the opening of the glass container and get the right size to do filtering from the pot directly into the container).

Below is my green tea that is not for the kids (brew the tea in one glass container, then filter it into another container). Hot weather I prefer cold green tea instead of hot.

This one for the kids to pour water themselves (with handle and smaller of about 1 litre ,and so it's safer/lighter for them to manage on own).

Spent after lunchtime painting one room walls with my buddy for a child undergoing blood cancer treatment. He's been having high fever in&out of hospital, so we thot maybe helped the parents clean up his room & treat any gaps & paint a fresh coat before he gets discharge home.

Good thing not as hot as previous days. Think my arms will start aching tmr as hardly exercise my arms this ways. But gratifying exercise. 😄 Give this boy a better environment to get well, when going thro chemo. DS missing me & called intermittently to tell me how his exams went.

Boy only 10, think quite depressing for mum. Treatment costs abt $>200K. Thankfully they've got govt subsidies & community support. When we're in need, we're the weakest but when we hv frds & community helping, no time to feel down. Both parents kept engaged. The father has been taking lots of leave, so we thot if we're SAHM with free time, keep mum company with a hand & our presence to uplift.

Hope if I ever am down, I've my frds ard me.
