Hi all, nice meeting all of you. My DS has a place in ALPS too. Apparently, we have to be in school on 16Oct for some form-filling, books/uniform buying, after-school care/ bus booking (if any)…

Hi parents,
May I know for P3 and P4, is there any banding/streaming? Does school offer Maths/Science enrichment (eg Olympiad) for P4 onwards? Can't seem to find info on website.
:thankyou:

My child is going to P1 APS next year. Would someone able to share the after schools which are available only for APS (excluding the after school which is currently available in the school) ? which is more reputable or recommended after school near APS ? Thanks in advance

Hello. I am a new joiner to this forum. I am also a new Singaporean so i am not very sure how the education system works. So i am really happy to come here and learn.
I am curious as to why ALPS do not offer any parent volunteer schemes but other schools do. Any reason know why? I see on the website that they have parent support groups, etc. I called up the school recently and they said that ‘…the school is too popular and has experienced baloting in 2C even’. But i see other popular schools have these scheme. so why doesnt ALP have one? -

Hi hi, There are parent support groups for all schools. Some schools take in PVs for prospective parents wanting to register their children for p1 while some draw parent volunteers from their existing students only. ALPS PVs scheme belongs to the latter. Its up to the school to decide how their PVs scheme works. CheersHello. I am a new joiner to this forum.
