Good thing not as hot as previous days. Think my arms will start aching tmr as hardly exercise my arms this ways. But gratifying exercise. 😄 Give this boy a better environment to get well, when going thro chemo. DS missing me & called intermittently to tell me how his exams went.
even if your arms ache, it's for a good cause :salute:

Yes, it's indeed satisfying & im thankful my buddy gave support. I know I cldnt hv done it on my own, to carry the 5 litre can & shifting the furniture ard. You'll noticed we didn't move much coz furniture are quite heavy. Just enuf space for use to reach corners.

My buddy didn't arrange for the workers to remove the old bed & wardrobe in time for us but it'll be thrown away in time for the new bed & wardrobe arriving next week. A few families amongst us contributed so that their son will not be exposed to any lurking dirt/mold or insects in old furniture. Hope the cleaned up environment will help towards his treatment & recovery. 🙏 One less anxieties out for caregiving parents.

New paint and new furniture are likely to emit cancer causing chemicals.

Air the room and furniture thoroughly before the boy moves in.

Thank you so much Hercules, for alerting. Really appreciate it.

Will ensure we clean the new furniture too. Will it heals to steam up the walls with a vacuum steamer of hot water? I can take my wet/dry kractcher to steam everything in the room. Boy is under observation in hospital now that's why we cleaned up this week.

            KSP Ladies Partners,
Thank you for all the advices & support in spirit. :grphug:

Arh, hv to try stretches to ease my stiffness & aches. Forgot to get DH help me with Tiger Balm rub, so hv to stretch my fingers thro my back shoulder. Like Janet said, it’s worth that it’ll give the boy a good environment to come home to

odourless paint really is different. if there is no need to paint the doors, then after airing the room for a few days, there will not be any lingering smell for the boy.

stick some patches to help ease the aches. if doesn't help, take paracetamol.

When one is at the bottom, any helping hand is much appreciated.
I totally understand as I have gone through myself.
                      esteema,
you have a kind heart. if you feel down, you can release some frustrations here. even if we cannot be physically present, at least you don't bottle up.

Tiger Balm rub is like my 仙丹 with backaches & the likes. I avoid oral medication unless really nec. Going over to steam clean the room after lunch with my buddy & DS coz he wants to come along help with the lifting & carrying bit. He knows mama is getting old & not strong after I injured my left elbow. Sweet thotful burger.
