Thank you for missing me. :please:

Just came back from Bangkok, whole body still aching. These few days busy packing and throwing away stuff as the engaged painters will be coming over in a few days. 😓

PSLE over is like having one big rock lifted off my heart. Yesterday, DH and I went out for breakfast and half way through, we had to u-turn back because we both forgot DD1 still had Chinese enrichment class! :slapshead: We really thought our “holidays” started. 😂

      lee_yl,

      You're totally free fr PSLE!

I'm sure you feel more relieved now as your girls pass this milestone. Now is the time to groom your 2 young ones into fine ladies. What hv u plan to occupy yr DD2 before Sec 1?

Haven’t really make special plans for DD2. DH said make her do sec 2 stuff! 😆 Only made plans for myself, to renovate the house and take this chance to RECOUPE after 2 consecutive PSLE!!
Maybe get her take up a language course? Language helps stimulate the brains & it's useful for networking for the millennia generation. DS doing ano language this holiday.

        Hi YL,

It’s exciting to look at the paint catalogue.
I had a base coat so that the paint will stay. No choice since it’s the first coat. Nippon odorless paint is really great…but the paint for the door frames has a strong smell.

I stuck to earth tones since it will need to be easy on the eyes and last for at least 5 years.

For my hall, I had grey just on one feature wall…matches the floor tiles and the blinds. I think it’s swansdown. Basically there is not much to see as the furniture kind of blocked most of the wall.
The ID helped me decide on the colors, although he did seek my opinion what I would like.

Average life expectancy of Singaporeans: 82.80 years old. Hmmm...

                      Isn't it 30yrs?

Such an experience does put a lot of things into perspective.

You are right. Shows how bad my math has become since the stroke 🙂
