just 1 day and ME TIME thread jumped 2 pages :yikes:

daughter enjoying her ME TIME...so am I :imcool: we don't have to rush home to revise this or that subject.
I just hope she doesn't enjoy until she forgets her name. actually I am planning to get her to revise sec 2 math in november, but just too burnt out to plan anything. BUT if I don't plan, she will definitely not do so.

it's been 1.5 weeks since her exams ended. perhaps I should have fun and not think of anything.

          Janet,

Must give yourself a bit more break. After all I’ve stressed yourself grilling her & worrying if she can cross that hurdle. Both u & yr girl had achieved that. Rest abit more when sch holiday starts then start abit of work. Don’t burn yourself dear. Take care.

            esteema,
it's just strange to be so relaxed. sometimes out of the blue, I would ask daughter what she is doing and she would reply me, 'exams are over. i'm relaxing. don't disturb me.'

Very normal response. The week before u plan to start her for revision work during sch holiday, u start telling her specifically she’ll need to be starting her work owise rusty mind, rusty pen.

i'm planning to teach her to plan her study schedule. she should have her new books by early November.
this way, she will know how much there is to study and how little time she has especially when school reopens.
I'll teach her to plan for 1 week and then let her plan subsequent week...then i'll see if it's feasible.

I feel comfortable when there is a system in place.
I hope this girl will learn to plan her schedule and take ownership of her studies.

Feeling secure having a plan may not be suitable for all. I plan though dh seldom plans.

Mid-week and soon will be wkend :rahrah:
