I just learned that The Learning Harbour will be closing down on 31 December 2018.

You might want to check out the other centre as mentioned by zac's mum.

I just learned that The Learning Harbour will be closing down on 31 December 2018.

You might want to check out the other centre as mentioned by zac's mum.

Learning Harbour (Cairnhill CC) said they will either be closing down or moving to another location (10 Windstedt). They will decide in the next 2 weeks.

Learning Leap (Goldhill) will be moving to Thong Teck Building (next to the American Club) beginning of next year.

SJIJ and ACSP both have in-house after school care but they don't accept students from other schools.

Does anyone know of any other student care centres we can explore near ACSJ?

Or does anyone know if ACSJ will ever come up with its own student care? Didn't they say all primary schools will have in-house student centres by 2020? Well I guess that's still 2 more years till the deadline

Try to push for (or at least indicate your stronginterest for) the location at 10 Winstedt. It is just next door to the school and very convenient.


No news about any in-house student care, but principal did mention some minor upgrading works being planned next few years. That could possibility include an in-house student care. But no news yet.

LSG is grey sleeves PE top. There are boys wearing it.

Don’t worry, LSG (grey) singlet is definitely still around.

The beige/nude singlet which is being phased out is TCT house. That one has been changed to a bright orange.

Hello! My son will be in P1 next year. Can I ask how many sets of school uniform/pe attires should I purchase?

IMO, PE attires can get 2/3 sets depending how fast yr child grows out of his size.


For uniforms, it’ll depend on whether u hv help ironing to help allieviate changes of uniforms before yr child grows out of it. We use 3 sets for changes fr P1-3 and as sch requires more afternoon supplementary classes, we gradually increase to 5 sets, which comprises of old sets of smaller size shorts & one size up as our child grows bigger in size.

The old ones were still in excellent condition & we put it in school under the "lost & found" baskets sonother boys can use them since the new P undertook to launder uniforms left towards T4 for any child who needs to claim them or wish to pick up suitable sizes that hv no one claiming.

Hope it gives u an idea the sets u wish to purchase. Hope yr child enjoys his new primary sch life!
