yes this is the one...this book ok?

It covers all Upper Block topics but not Lower block topics as it is for P5 & P6. There is another one for Lower Block topics.
It includes thematic papers as well.
Hi bestwishes, thanks for the update. I may have overlooked this point (Upper Vs Lower Block) as I was also browsing PSLE Science books (which covers the whole PSLE Syllabus).

Is Systems -> Electrical Systems in this Guide Book?

I will check it out again when I visit Popular next time.

:thankyou:
Yes. Topic 2.5 is electrical sys (fr pg159 to 189)
Hi bestwishes, thank you for being so helpful. I will certainly check this book when I visit Popular.

Hi,

Do u recommend to start going through P6 topics or go through P5 topics during the holidays to close any gaps? The runway to PSLE is short.

Both; doing new topics in P6; at the same time doing revision papers for P3 to P5 and strengthen the weaker topics.

This book is very good for PSLE Sc preparation for lower block topics. (But not recommended for students who do not have any basic concepts for the topics.)

Don't mention it, Giggler. That's what we are here for - to share and help. 🙂

For the flashcard mentioned in the post here: https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=81235&start=2100#p1883741 , you can get the smallest size Ugrade Ruled Card (Size 3\"x5\" (76x127mm)). $1.50 for 50pcs - 1 pcs at just 3 cents each.

Example of how one of my students created his own set:

If child's handwriting is an issue, then can consider typing on sticker paper (admittedly, more time consuming for parent).

Yes thanks for sharing how to DIY. Some expensive Chinese tuition centers print out their own flashcards (similar to these) for their students to learn on-the-go. Eg keep one set of the latest chapter in the car. U can punch single hole in the corner and group the cards by chapter by linking them with a big metal ring (also inexpensive from bookshop).

My own mum taught me to use bigger “3x5” cards to make my own Science condensed topical notes for my PSLE. Easier to “flip thru” quickly for refresher compared to the textbook.

That’s what I did when my DS was in P5, I bought a variety of colored Ruled cards & the long year-end sch holidays he did up each color for Science & English. He included his artistic drawings of cells, plants, etc with colored pen. It’s gratifying to see them apply their learning apart fr just reading & worksheets.

I made a plan with my dd2 to do up notes for P3/4 Science as well as memorise 5 compo phrases every week during the holiday

Thank you, laoshi!
Would you have any recommendations for oral?

Hi ammonite,
The ones by 大拇指 and MC (‎Marshall Cavendish Education) are pretty good.
For the 2 published by 大拇指, they were previously available for sale at the Zao Bao Online Shop:
https://zaobao-shop.myshopify.com/products/product-36?variant=36205332625

However, they seem to be out of stock. That said, I've seen some people selling in on Carousell.

Found the link to the 2nd book: https://www.sphsubscription.com.sg/eshop/?r=products/newsubscriptionpackages&pcode=tu2
(Don't be misled, it's a 1 time cost.)
