I'm not keen to go for holidays during the year end...sorry if it sounds selfish but the idea of kids kicking the seats on the plane is not enjoyable. unfortunately I am not able to enjoy an off peak holiday with both kids having holidays during June and Dec.

my brain is in 'holiday mode' now. I need to warm up a little next month because I still have to teach daughter to plan her schedule. in the meantime, I'm feeling :imcool: last night, we drove through orchard road to take pics...what was missing is the rain (in place of snow).
We also last night..but the kids not very keen..I kept telling hey take alook while driving past, no need walk already. The younger one asked me to keep quiet as she wants to read and the elder on wants to listen to songs..why, frozen arh? past already right..dd says maybe frozen 2 :?

Mrs is, mine also Not keen in lightings fr mayb P1 or 2 onwards
They only enjoy Tanglin mall fake foam snow when they were like Todd’s n preschoolers - prob the theme parks like USS n Disney offer better Xmas fun lightings -

And me too, I never meet misbehaved kids on plane - I think full service airline n travel entertainment on board help n a lot ,a lot of parents brought young kids for short flight eg KL, Bkk, Penang , phuket etc. The kids are seasoned since young , no more hyper on flights.maybe crying babies but established air lines air pressure is pretty good , no ear pains for young todds n babies, parents just carry bb walk up n down the aisle , they will stop crying ...so young better dun travel for Long leisure holidays unless no choice!

I experienced young kiddo ‘kicked’ the back of my seat once or twice. The really bad experience was smelly feet from an adult who decided to take off the socks n rest his feet in the tiny space in between the two front seats. That’s donkey years ago. Dunno whether that plane model still in service.

Flight experiences in the recent years were quite pleasant.

Used to go traveling once or twice per yr. Think of the queuing at customs, hotels…etc… Think of packing/unpacking luggage, washing & tidying up…think of looking ard for food, cooking…no energy.

Furthermore, i reali find it boring going out with dh & ds. Rather go out with friends or colleagues…don’t know why.

Travelling makes me even more tired bec once home, not to talk about the unpacking and washing, office work gets pile up etc

However, travelling is one of my motivations to work

Haha same here , with no domestic helper , we dislike to do laundry after one holiday . That’s why I dun travel every Sch holidays or no short trips in between long wk end with ph. Travel is also one motivation to keep me working .

frozen is so outdated, so is toy story.
the classics are mickey, Donald, goofy and princess.
after seeing mickey, it started to get so boring...then mickey mouse colour is blue, then followed by dark blue and orange? :faint: colour combination is terrible.

travelling during peak season is expensive and packed everywhere. before holiday, pack and pack. after holiday, unpack and wash.
