        Estéema:
Maybe diff year diff practice, or diff sch diff holder?

Last year, were issued with a MOE hardcover with a pocket holder. Entire holder hard card feel & opaque.

Yes, there will always be nosy-parkers but just politely move to ano student or smile politely to excuse yourself. We had an over-excitedly parent in medical profession, who asked DC when we were not looking & went away thinking same score as her DC, y child lost for words when she said “oh same”. Cldnt correct the situation as she speedily moved on to check others’ score. Then she was caught surprised in the new sch year when hers was express & DV in IP/IB. Words just went ard tt my DC lied to her. Faint! No words to describe.
My experience similar to yours. T-score in hard cover. By the time I got to my DD she already opened and knew her grades. The school knew the performance of their cohort at least 1 day before, and was busy giving awards to anyone with 250+ scores.
Best of luck to those yet to receive their scores in a couple of hours. No matter how they did, kids are precious and need to be complimented for their future growth!

all kids are precious…they should not be determined by 3 digits.

            Keep calm & collected.

cannot keep calm. All very anxious !

P and school staff in school now all kept very busy, compiling score statistics, before release 11 am !

although everything is set in stone, it's hard not to be anxious.

actually principal and teachers have to compile results and prepare slides at 830am...the Ps of all schools have to collect the results before that.
I remember hearing my heart beating as we were seated in the school hall. it was really stressful having to wait for the P's talk to be over and the slides which showed how the school fared.

Psle is just 1 exam. Some will do well later in years after psle while others may do well for psle but not so good as they go along.

psle is just the first of more major exams in the kids' lives.
some are late bloomers...what is important is to be realistic about our kids. once they start secondary school, psle is history.

                  Absolutely agree with you.

                  Every child is precious.

Today is just a day to collect PSLE results. But whatever results is printed, think back of the journey your child hv gone thro & just celebrate their journey up to this point & tell your child it’s awesome they’ve crossed this milestone. Affirm them & that way they feel u truly love them more than the grades. Go for a nice lunch before any adult head back to work or bring yr child back. Your child will want to know if u still love them whether results good or not ideal.

Hurtful words weakens but words or love & care strengthens their little inner self. Always give them words of encouragement & words of motivation. They’ll rmbr you better for life.

There are more opportunities in their young life to discover their strength, find their niche & make their mark in life.

Next year start afresh ano new and exciting journey. The future is yet to explore & achieve. Look forward not back or what cld hv been. Go forward in life with your child(ren).

There may be disappointment. Important thing is for parents to be encouraging and for kids to be resilient and push on in sec school.
