fable:
I believe Indonesian is at MOELC in Bishan. But thought I recalled Malay being taught in some school in the East. Anyway, as I get older, my memory becomes less reliable so I dare not say this as fact...
Whoops just checked with my son - Malay is at MOELC Bishan too. Sorry, emoh, you're right!
Malay should be at MOELC in Bishanemoh:
My son takes Japanese at the MOELC at Newton. I believe Malay is somewhere in the east... not in school. The boys can drop 3rd Lang if they choose to. I think the only thing to note that if it's not done by a certain date (hv to check) then the student will have to take the exam and the marks obtained wd be recorded.
HCL can also be dropped - this one at the end of the year I believe. Also I think the boys must get a minimum mark to continue studying it in the next year -

Wondering if anyone has experience with the JAP(music)? Is it really heavy commitment in 2 years? Is it theory based or they are required to play their instrument in class? -
Hi
DS will be joining SJI next year.
Anyone has looked thru the camp packing list? The list mentioned a 1.5l water bottle.
What kind of 1.5l water bottle to bring for the camp?
Anyone has kids that attended the orientation camp prev? Does the kid need to carry this 1.5l bottle around? If yes, may have to look for 1 that has a handle, easier to carry.
Thks -
Dino mummy:
Will probably bring the sports bottle he has. I think similar to pri 5 camps, intention is get them to drink more without often having to run to water coolers to top up. I may use those 1l pet bottle if i didn't have the sports bottle as normally they will leave bottles on the floor & come back later. However I am still figuring how to carry the ironed uniform on a hanger to school on public bus.Hi
