Hi MyPillow, thanks for sharing and you are spot on on longer time for classes. Coincidentally, i was counting the number of hours spent per subject btw the 2 schools. Indeed MS spends more time on some subjects.

Im incline towards choosing MS but i do not want to force this across to ds too. Headache.. 😓

I m also looking at MSHS for my child but I have friends who discourage me sending my child to boys school. But I like the school’s subject combination vs XinMin n Zhonghua.

Am in a dilemma school of choosing school for my boy .

MSHS is a good and reputable boys school. If your child himself is not scared of mixing with boys, I don’t see why your friend is discouraging you from applying.

            Agree with Zac mum ,
Why your fren disagree , “ jealous” .. 😉 or mayb fren feel boys Sch are playful ?
Did u watch the series where Mediacorp intro all the SAP Sch in spore - all have rich history n disciplined , you can consider schools fr the database . I think Marist n cath high are the not so cheena ones among the SAP Sch

Personally , I think attending a single sex Sch is a early chance to taste “NS” brother bonding . And I know the discipline is good for these sch

Hi parents of Marists, i have been silently reading e post here since e release of PSLE results. Brought my DS to e open hse n he had put MSHS as his first choice. Wanna to say Hi to parents here as Sec1 posting results will be released in 5 days time. Very high chance DS will be posted to MSHS.

I would like to know how it will be like on e registration day. 8.30am report to school for registration. Can we park our car inside e sch premises? Will e principal be giving a talk on tat day itself? How long will e registration take? How abt time taken to queue up to buy textbooks & uniforms. TIA!

Principal mentioned on PSLE results day that Reporting Day will end ard 10.30am. I'm guessing there will be a long queue for the books and uniform so I'll go direct to Shanghai Uniforms to buy on another day. Books shd be supplied by Pacific Books and we can order online and self-collect from sch on another day. Shd be able to park in school. Hope the info helps. 🙂

Thanks crayonmum for e info. Your son is from MS primary school? As I am working, so intend to purchase everything on tat day so I dun have to take leave again.
