Is it true that non DSA students have to join uniform group as CCA? Heard about it from someone.

No such rumour, never heard. Coach chooses students based on the potential, so trial is important.

Those who DSA via academic, science, will they have higher chance in getting the Galileo program? Likewise for math, the Euler program?

If not, then what is the purpose of taking in the students via DSA?

Mine isn't in either programs but I believe all boys get equal shot at entering Euler/Galileo (i.e. there will be tests for shortlisting and this is open to all boys. Post shortlist, another round of testing before the final list is announced). From the list of those who finally get in, seems those who entered via DSA for Maths/Science stand a higher proportion - no surprise since these should be super strong in Maths/Science.

The Euler selection test consists of 2 rounds (written & interview) while the Galileo selection test consists of 3 rounds (written, practical, interview). All students go thru the same selection tests regardless of primary sch achievements (i.e. even if one represented S’pore before in overseas competition, still have to go thru the same selection process).

So students start with an equal footing. However like what Hquek shared, those DSA students usually outperform their peers in the selection tests due to the relative strength in their DSA subjects. However it’s not a given that DSA students will definitely be selected for these prg. Interview performance plays an impt part in the selection outcome too.

Intake is usually around 20 per subject and the std is pitched at a much higher level than RP. Students who accept the offer to join Euler or Galileo will have the option to join the merit CCA of Math or Sci club respectively.

Not any more. Euler and math club tests are separated. Galileo and science club tests are using the same paper, but one must indicate which he wants or both.

None. They just need a pc with windows for projects.
