The jacket wasn’t on sale yesterday.

Speaking of which, is the belt supposed to be loose?

Yes. Intake is 261 girls this year and SCGS (Primary) did very well for PSLE this year in spite of it being in the holding site.

        Thanks for sharing, doodbug!

Congrats to SCGS (Primary) to have done very well for this year’s PSLE! :rahrah:

My DD2’s BFF is in SCGS (Primary) and I am very happy for her too cos she had done well for her PSLE this year.

Oh yes, not just the secondary, the primary school also tries to develop all its girls!

:scratchhead: Probably out of stock. I think you should be able to get the navy blue SC jacket from the school bookshop.

Regarding the belt, depends on the child’s size but should be fitting. In case it’s too tight or too loose, one can take out the metal hook, adjust its position then sew it back.

Thanks lee_yl! Do you have any issue with the uniform arm hole being a little too big?

My DD is a singleton from her Primary School yet she has decided to go with SCGS 😛

The school’s alumni list is impressive, especially given that it is a fairly small school.

😂 My DD2’s BFF was from the school badminton team, maybe exercise too much, she also petite, but when I see her in uniform, she looks smart and cute!

Some people do tailor their uniforms but I leave it as such. How about you see if can sew up abit? Don’t worry lah, classmates all girls!!

                Hi,

Does anyone know where we can get the jacket to wear over the uniform? I forgot to inquire about it yesterday when we were purchasing the uniform.
                Sin2x,

Call the school bookshop to check if they have stock?

I saw a few versions of SC jackets before. :scratchhead: For example, I recall sometime back, someone even asked where to buy the pullover with hoodie type.

My daughter uses the standard navy blue jacket with school badge one.

The attached image is the 120th Anniversary version.

                  Thank you lee_yl,

We got the school jacket on Saturday. It is the one with the school logo. The anniversary jacket is not available yet.

Today was the release of O’level results. Congrats to the girls who have done well. :rahrah:

DD1 told me many JC1 students from Eunoia JC came back to SCGS to root for their juniors. DD1 seemed very excited. 🤷 I was pleasantly surprised to hear that and the fact that they bothered to come down to root for their peers was quite a touching guesture. 😄

Sampling and Cash and Carry of CNY cookies by our SCGS PSG:

                    SCGS Primary school Foyer 15th January 12.30pm - 2pm
SCGS Secondary School Main Lobby Driveway 16th January 1pm - 2.30pm
Deadline to order online is 20th Jan.

I bought a lot last year, as gifts for friends and relatives, after I realised they were so much cheaper than those on sale in Taka. The same container of pineapple balls is selling $18.50 at SC vs $25.80 at Taka booth. The Abudance Gift Set is selling at $32 in school vs $48 at Taka. Tiffany gift set is $9 cheaper! Please show your support. 😄

Yes There are 2 Triple science classes for IP(SY & SE).I heard that there is only one Triple Science Class in Express levels..(Not sure though)If you drop Triple science you have to go to double science classes.
