Dino mummy:
Will probably bring the sports bottle he has. I think similar to pri 5 camps, intention is get them to drink more without often having to run to water coolers to top up. I may use those 1l pet bottle if i didn't have the sports bottle as normally they will leave bottles on the floor & come back later. However I am still figuring how to carry the ironed uniform on a hanger to school on public bus.Hi
DS will be joining SJI next year.
Anyone has looked thru the camp packing list? The list mentioned a 1.5l water bottle.
What kind of 1.5l water bottle to bring for the camp?
Anyone has kids that attended the orientation camp prev? Does the kid need to carry this 1.5l bottle around? If yes, may have to look for 1 that has a handle, easier to carry.

Son just got psle result and eligible for SJI o level programme. Can anyone advice if it is possible to switch to SJI IP programme after sec 1 or sec 2? If so, what types of grades must he achieved ? Thanks
I know it happens in Sec 3, not too sure if sec 3 can or not. We transferred school due to CCA and new housing reasons. -

Anyway ACSI also fluctuated at 250 and 254 compared to 2018's 249 and 256. -

Most Secondary schools evaluate students at the end of Sec 2 for IP eligibility. The student must do pretty well by the end of Sec 2 to be considered. -

All camping stuffs i recall i got them from Beach Road Army Market. Water bottle preferably has a tag or handle for them carry around. 1.5 ltr is standard for all camp trips over the yrs. I went for it though wondering why it needs to be so big when i first bought it as well. Then i realized you remind kids to refill water to drink is their last priority. Label their stuffs, sure will have things lost. These are boys!Hi

One tip: Keep used school shoes. You will need them for those upcoming outdoor or ubin adventure camps. No point washing after they back from camp. I will not even let them bring near me also.

In any case PSLE scores doesnt mean anythg at all, might hv some correlation on the top 5% as they will likely to continue to score without much efforts in academics, the rest is history. I was told 260+ stuggling with academic promotion criteria as well.
But everything else being equal, the higher quality of students tend to get better results. That is not the impressive part. The impressive part is how you get the rest of cohort to shine. -
Any ideas how are the boys grouped into their classes in Year 1?
