I drank kopi O last. Evening st 6 plus. Canโt get into deep sleep till 2am plus . And a bit indigestion too

I mentioned about this intermittent fasting thing some time back. Been reading up on it. BIL went on it he claimed his health improved, lesser stomach issues which is his main problem. And of course, weight loss.
I was thinking the eat 1 day fast 1 day thing is daunting but found out there is this 8/16 hrs or 4/18hrs intermittent fasting thing that people do. Basically 8 hr window that you can eat and 16hrs you fast. That is totally doable as that is almost like my normal routine. So I was thinking, can start after CNY. I doubt it will do anything with my weight since it is not much diff from my normal pattern but no harm trying right?
However, I started this routine accidentally on CNY eve and it has more or less continued over the 2 days of celebrations. I eat my 1st meal at about 12pm/1pm and last meal by 8pm. Funny thing is if I do not eat at all in the morning, I do not feel hungry at all. However, if I have my breakfast at 8am, I will be hungry by about 12pm. Today is the 4th day of this pattern. Just hope my reflux doesnโt start acting up. -

but happy la, been feasting for so many days..how to do it? -

I am trying the 8/16 intermittent fasting. Starting breakfast late is easier for me than eating dinner early so I am eating my 1st meal only at around 12pm and last meal at 7pm. Thereafter, no more eating. Can drink though during the fasting hours. Of course not high calorie drinks but water, black tea, green tea, black coffee.
Of course all the sensible diet thing needs to be observed so your meals should still be lean protein, complex carbo and lots of greens. If you snack, stick to healthier choices. Just that you do not have to go to extremes in your diet. Just eat sensibly. Don't go gorging on high fat, high cal foods just because you are on this fast.
Not sure if it is a coincidence, weighed myself this morning, weight maintained but fats % went down even though I have not really been watching what I was eating over the last 2 days. -

sleeping at 12, i find that I look less pretty - our eyes will sunk in, dark circle once out is soooooo difficult or impossible to
erase away !

agree. most time at our age bracket - calories is the main culprit that cause various health issues /weight . Fats ,so long we are not dumping on high fatty food. , most should be fine.MrsKiasu:

that Keto diet is not for normal people unless one is v active n high exercise volume - we refer it as the caveman diet - need a lot of energy to go hunting then maybe without food for few days - high fats will caused blocked arteries risk
