It is always fun to buy CNY cookies but not so fun to deal with bottles of half-consumed cookies lying around.

              zac's mum:

I’m sure there are much more efficient ways to do this (which real FTWMs do), but I feel there’s just not enough bonding time with my kid. (The homework time does not count as joyful bonding!) Time just flies past while everyone is busy rushing and cranky with no down time.
              FTWMs have no ME time.
our weekends are burnt as daughter has to revise for her weekly tests and finishing up homework. I set her tuition on Friday nights so that we can breathe a little on Saturday night by going out for dinner. the weekends literally zoom past and it's back to another work week. the homework this year (sec 3) is crazy!
there are weekly tests to keep the girls on the ball, but they are ungraded. it would be great if they are graded so that there is some motivation.

We always have excess even though dont buy much as dds rarely reach out for the cny goodies…moreover this year I made for myself 3 batches of pineapple tarts …finished up 2 batches mostly by myself and the last batch with tweaked recipe and still lying there…I m now on diet watch out anyway…so guess it will be same as last year…

Dd has been sleeping late and accumulating sleep debt, seems to be busy with past/current hw and my record of her revision still at around mid Dec18 :yikes: we have given the whole room to her else dd2 wont get good rest.

I’ve just passed 53 and already feel old. I don’t know how you guys can feel middle aged beyond the 50s. Old means old lor… lol.
