Because we are all number crunchers, maybe can standardise the %ages to 1 decimal places.

So far, only RI has been very transparent about their numbers (and I can understand why :rotflmao: ).

The % H3 Distinction can be very misleading since it is only a very small subset of the total school cohort taking it.
:salute: Yes sir. Below please find the amended table and the links where the schools reported their A level results for your easy reference:

Actually, I would exclude NYJC from the list above (like for ASRJC, YIJC, some-acronym-JCs etc).
All I see are from the facebook link are pictures and very little verifiable data (unless I am missing something) 😉

        Great job btw mommyNg.

That's precisely why I included the link, because all that can be found on their school website regarding their A level results are just the facebook pictures -> that's why the whole row of data for NYJC is missing 😆

Because we are (again) number crunchers, I think you could have added a column for \"3H2 passes including GP\". It will provide a more 'holistic' view of the JC / school's cohort performance rather than just the elites - but I suspect most KSP are interested in the elites only 😆

http://www.ri.edu.sg/highlights/story/a-level-results-2019 (it's true, not all RI boys / girls will achieve a minimum pass - and I like RI for being transparent)

How to get 23.1% for VJ?

173 at least 6 distinctions, 55 at least 7 distinctions. Total 753 students.
                173/753 is 23.1%?

But yes, thanks for the effort mommyng, please do not misunderstand, I am not checking through everything to nitpick. Just reading the rows I am interested in.

                Thanks again for compiling.

I attempted to collate the information gathered from the various schools' websites. As each school reported their statistics differently, the info in the table below is not complete, and did not include other info some schools posted. Anyone with verified updated numbers, please share:

Ah, my spreadsheet accidentally keyed in 174/753..... No worries, as long as you understand that I am not doing this (compiling info for ksp) as a job 😉. Anyway, here is an updated list with the latest info from NYJC P's youtube clip...

To add on to your spreadsheet, RI's mean UAS was reported as 84.5, and 0.5% with 9 Dist.

                      https://rafflespress.com/2019/02/22/a-level-results-2019-in-intellectual-pursuit/#more-30373

In terms of pure numbers, NJC's median UAS of 84.4 is very close to RI's mean UAS of 84.5. The only statistics that can be used for apple-to-apple comparison between the 2 schs is % of 3 H2 Dist. RI's one being much higher at 63% vs ~50% (this is not a slight on NJC as RI absorbs stronger intake so results should naturally be better). Does that mean that the closer one gets to the max 90 score, median UAS usually gets higher than mean UAS?

Interestingly, RI changed from reporting median UAS to mean UAS for the 2016 and 2017 A level results. Median UAS was reported to be 87.8 in 2016 while mean UAS was 85 in 2017.

Assuming that the sch performed consistently across the 2 years, it gives weight that median UAS will be higher than mean UAS when the score is close to 90.
