Ah, my spreadsheet accidentally keyed in 174/753..... No worries, as long as you understand that I am not doing this (compiling info for ksp) as a job 😉. Anyway, here is an updated list with the latest info from NYJC P's youtube clip...

As per their P, more than 4 in 10 in NYJC received 3 H2 As and pass in GP. That's probably the same PR specialist used by Eunoia (1 in 2), NJC (about 1 in 2), DHS (almost 50%) and Donald Trump in presenting numbers.

Assuming that the sch performed consistently across the 2 years, it gives weight that median UAS will be higher than mean UAS when the score is close to 90.
        That's consistent with the modelling.

It's not a normal U curve because the upper limit is capped at 90 whereas the lower end can have a very long tail (it can be very low if RI real 3 H2 + GP pass is ~ 98 to 99%).

I think nyjc results should b pretty well or decent - their o level cut off is range of 7 - already better than ejc n tjc Jae for last 2 or 3 yrs . It still remains “humble “ though not an ip league . I do think the 7 pointers o level students producing gd A level
Results too, just like other mid tier ip jc

HCI website states 6 out of 10 obtained 3 H2 Dist. Does it mean exactly 60%?

I suppose it could be 63% (or even 59%)?
I suppose if more than 65% they would have stated “about 7 out of 10” lol.

That’s why there’s no point saying which is better and which is worst. It’s just a marketing exercise for all the JCs apart from RI (easy to be transparent when you are head and shoulders above everyone else). Get a good marketer and you could probably sell a chicken off as a Phoenix.

6 out of 10 could be anything from 55% to 69%, although I suspect calling it almost 70% would be better if it’s > 61% (see DHS eg).

Here’s a bad / good example for marketers:

                https://www.instagram.com/p/BuLaqGYng8s/

One of the few JCs with a mean UAS is 80 and above.

Informatively, may as well as don’t say. But, it’s a good example of using a lot of words but saying nothing at all.

What subjects are included in the %6As, %7As, %8As figures, besides the 3 H2 subjects?

The remaining 2 to 4 subjects included can be any combination from the big pot of PW, Chinese, GP and list of H1 and H3 subjects, is it?

To add on to your spreadsheet, RI's mean UAS was reported as 84.5, and 0.5% with 9 Dist.

Yesterday I received a WhatsApp compiled on the mean UAS of various JCs being circulated around (by friend’s friends).

I saw RI’s mean UAS was 84.5%. My friend and I were thinking was it fake news, especially when someone in KSP mentioned that NYJC’s mean UAS 85.X and HCI at 85.

I believe there's a diff between mean and median UAS, and sometimes people mix them up. For eg, RI's mean UAS is 84.5 but considering that 30.9% scored perfect UAS of 90, and 52% with 4 H2 Dist, I'm sure its median UAS will be higher than 84.5.

                      >61% can be called “almost 70%” ? 😂

                      63% is still 6 out of 10.

I must say DHS needs to improve on their marketing... If they want to sugar-coat the percentage to make it look nice, then don't put in the exact number as anyone can calculate the exact percentage from there... they are just inviting others to shoot them... :?
