Hi all,
Newbie here and would like to know anyone registering for ACSJ?
I have an issue with after school care as both myself and hubby works and we don't have help with picking our boy after school... how does a school care centre works when it's not within school compound? Does it mean the kid have to make their own way to the centre?
Would appreciate some pointers..
Thanks! :thankyou: -

Usually the student care centre that is off the school compound will come over to the school to fetch the students back to the centre.Hi all,

Yes the student care teachers will be responsible for bringing the kids over to the off-site student care centre.

FYI, ACSJ will be undergoing PERI (minor) upgrading from June 2019 to Dec 2021.
The in-house student care is a part of this upgrading, and is slated to be ready “in the course of 2020”. In line with MOE’s requirements for all primary schools across SG to have in-house student care centres by 2020.

Would you happen to know if I should be frantically looking for a spot for my son now or wait for orientation day with ACSJ (since their facilities is still under construction).
I have no clue on how to go about doing this at all.
Many thanks.. -

With most parents working these days in order to support the household, student care are in demand to a certain extent. It really depends on where you want to place your child, choosing a right student care is of importance as it will be where your son will spend most of his afternoons.
You might want to consider going a walkabout to list down the available student care around the school, visit them and view the place and see if it satisfies the daily needs of your son and if the environment is conducive for your son's learning. At the same time, find out more about their daily curriculum or timetable. These can be done while you wait for Orientation Day to come whereby you get to view the school student care itself. By then you probably would be able to make an informed decision as you have all the necessary information you need to make that decision. -

Hello everyone,
New here. Anyone here registering for Nanyang Primary & RGPS?
Thank You! -
I understand that there is a letter of consent to sign for divorced parent. My girl is staying with me but she will be going to her daddy’s primary school (alumni). Does that mean I will be the one signing the letter of consent?
