我的前半生is very meaningful. The hubby cannot take the daily nonsense from the wife so he find the 小三 very attractive because they both work in the same office and find comfort in her. Interesting part is after he married the 小三 the same nonsense happens. So conclusion is couple usually will quarrel over the normal 菜米油盐. It doesn’t mean that once he married the 小三 life will be like fairy tale happily ever after

Oh, so this is similar to what I have watched 20years ago, HK comedy film 家有喜事（周星驰、吴君如 、黄百鸣）

The real life pressure over 柴米油盐 is very real. So the morale of the story is? Men should not mix wives and outside flings altogether. The mind must be very clear what he wants.

The wife maybe 黄脸婆, but she takes care of the household/kids well. An outside fling is just lust. When 小三 really becomes your wife, you gets sh!t

Just joking lah, I am more interested to know how the wife gets over the Husband she once loved dearly.

As I watched this drama, I find similarities because we are SAHM. I asked myself what will I do if it happens to me ?

This drama is good for women to see how unexpected life can be and what happens if their DH really has EMA. Also good for the men to watch to know the consequences and how it can affect their children and EMA is not for everyone. Unless one can handle the consequences and not regret later.

In the show, the husband showed that he actually regretted the divorce after seeing another man falling in love with the ex wife and the ex wife becomes successful in her career but there is no turning back as really 破镜不能重圆

We are talking about “soul mate” having EMA outside. And what could be the next step. Otherwise, everyone wishes to be 白头偕老

some women have EMA because they are lonely or perhaps hubby isn't sensitive or cares about her after years of marriage. what the women actually need is a listening ear. so if it happens that a guy who understands her comes along and gives her the attention lacking in a marriage, that's how EMA happens.

See lah, men are selfish. 拥有的时候不珍惜，become Ex-Wife then jealous ex-Wife seeing another man.

I agree that EMA is not for everyone, it is easy to do funny things outside but when it comes to facing the consequences, not everyone can handle it. Be it whoever has EMA, 100% sure the children will suffer.

Next week busy for dd, the ungraded term test . If din do well will need to attend sup class after sch - so must study !

I woke up about same time as you too..dd2 woke me up and want cuddles I am trying to pay off some sleep debt..played dough in the morning and used the meat purchased yesterday to cook soup..very simple meal..today bought a chicken for tomorrow's herbal soup..will try make some pineapple tarts as dd1 been asking for it for a week.

today, you and your ironman will do exercise together at home hor I guess..enjoy enjoy..not easy for you to get enough private time now :hugs:

my little understanding is also something like the smaller yr feet the more atas you are (rich) as that shows you dont need to even do very light work, surrounded by servants?? to me, crazy la, when at war..cannot run..

Am also a 黄脸婆. The difference here is, you have a career (stable income) and network outside. I always think it is harder for SAHM to step out of the pain and try to be independent again after her life has been anchored around the house and kids for a decade (or more).

Just my sharing, you may not agree.

Any inheritance is a bonus and a will can always be changed easily when man has a change of heart. More practical thing to do is, have a house, car and enough cash under my name solely. I must think how my kids and I can survive henceforth. If you can’t even feed yourself, you have no chance in winning the custody of your children. I also don’t want to disturb my aged parents, asking them for help financially.
