:roll: I did star cruise Virgo twice to .kL - met Indians , not in the pool though
We avoided the buffet then, n eat Chinese in order to siam them ..
My colleague went Phuket in nov , he din say abt Indians cruising , I hope they dun go that far to Phuket since they are on tour grp - part sing n msia package ...ah yo yo .... i will know in June

Avoid PRCs (May and Oct?) and Indians holiday seasons? Don’t think every trip is like that, got season one bah. No need to avoid buffet lah. You pay money, so just go and try out everything!

Actually thinking of booking another cruise maybe this time going on dream cruise. Don’t think Indians will book dream cruise hor :xedfingers:

I think they meet the tourist in big crowds n some crowds are rowdy n noisy to make others feel discomfort
When I was in Swiss alps we met both grp too - if they get too noisy we just move n find other oasis
I guess they have gd spending power so can travel every where ... even on Swiss alps - but I hardly see Indian tourist in jap ? Maybe food issues

I think it depends on the period that you go on cruise. I went on dream cruise in April. Lots of Indians. Went on RC in Dec. Mostly Singaporean families.


Prefer dream cruise. Like the Chinese restaurant. Much newer ship than RC voyager of the seas. Not sure about RC other ships.

I checked balcony class when I booked to Phuket - dream was cheaper then ... maybe depends on promo period n terms
Save the suite money go Japan many times -scenery confirmed “suite” class n food is world class if one willing to try freshest salmon n Kobe beef

Aiyo we all went Japan (Tokyo/Osaka) many times already till DH protested but the last time we went Okinawa was very nice. Everything was good, the scenery, food and the hotel. We self drive there too. Might consider again.

DH went Japan, China, Europe many many times for business trips (he is not in the tourism line if u are wondering lol) till I think holiday becomes like business trips to him
