we love chicken feet peanuts too -
janet, your ds also thin, no need eat too much brown - i think mine also not enuff fats and glucose to grow -diff people diff body. i know my boy is not a cake /pastries , desserts lover - only like chicken n beef ( but i control beef , dun want the fats to deposit since young)

son is thin, but he eats a lot of rice. in the long run, it's not healthy. we love savoury food over sweet stuff.

we eat mostly chicken and pork. due to religion, no beef. don't like the smell of mutton.
don't really fancy fish but will eat once a week because of DHA. usually, it's chicken, pork and fish.

If there are history of diabetics in family line, then should control & watch
my grand parents all eat white , no history of diabetics/kidney related illnesses among them n same blood relationship uncles, unties etc. quite depends on inherited genes

with brown rice, I cook lesser too.

if it’s just white rice, I cook 2 cups. with combination of both, I only cook 1.5 cups and we feel fuller until the next morning.

even though there is no history of diabetes in the family, we are eating brown rice for health reason.
when the kids are fuller, they don’t eat supper and sleep later as a result.

ME time is after hanging wet laundry. the rest of the night is listening to songs and playing games on ipad. I should not be facing electronic stuff before bedtime...but it's hard to control

The air smells ashy again. Can’t get any fresh air early in the morning. Sigh!
