      Hi Mummies and Daddies,

Would you mind sharing which primary school your DS was from before aiming for Victoria School? Would like to research and consider the primary schools for my DS and hope he can get in Victoria School too! I know it depends on the child academic level but would also like to give it a try to let him have a good start like your DS..

      :thankyou:

        hi!

DS is interested to join VS next year. We are trying to manage his expectations with his current grades. Can anyone share roughly their grades they receive at end of P5 and or Prelims? Thank you.
i should think at p5 sa2 and p6, results should be averaging mid 80s and above?

i have a friend who had 3 A* and a B and had 248 for psle, so just managed to get in. If u average that score out, should be mid 80s..

I also have a related question. For sports DSA, the school’s website (for DSA 2018) says the selection criteria is:

“Very good academic results for P5 overall and P6 Mid-Year Examination or its equivalent,

Participation and achievements in the sport, including zonal, national and/or international level competitions, and

              Trainee of Junior Sports Academy
              ”.

My question is, is the last point compulsory? Has anyone encountered the school taking in potential sportsmen who were not from JSA?

My son has none of the above... but he went for trials and made it. I guess it really depends on the performance of your son for the try outs, academic results and lastly, the interview.
