If you have nothing else better to do and enjoy the registration process at phase 2c, why not?

You will have no chance at all.
My girl, we used Church letter, but stayed within 1km to 2km...In phase 2B and Phase 2C also ZERO chance.
Don't waste your time. Besides that, we also realised that this school used connections to enter.
Our girl has been on wait list since Pri 1 till now Pri 4. Every year we tried to ask for transfer, also ZERO chance.
So we moved on.
Only way is, if you have the $$, buy or Rent an apartment right next to MGS, and if you are church member, use Phase 2B within 1km to enter or Phase 2C within 1km to enter. But chances of ballots are super high as well

I’m in a dilemma whether to register her in Phase 2A1 in Temasek Pri (TP)
or Phase 2C (<1km) in Kuo Chuan Pri (KCP).

If we register her in TP, parents can help pick her after sch. If go KCP, we will have to make changes to working hrs and pick on our own or put in after sch care.

How do we determine if chances of getting into KCP is good for Phase 2C <1km?
Should we register under 2A1 for TP and see if how are the chances for KCP?

Balloting < 1km has never happened to KCP before. Given the lack of major developments in Bishan, pretty unlikely there will be a sudden influx of applicants.
It should be safe for you to decide which school / arrangement you prefer and go with it.

where can we all find the 2018 P1 ballot history ? Here only have till 2017 ballot results.

btw, p1 registration is based in NRIC residing address correct? as our BTO will only be ready next yr, and we are not sure when will we be shifitng in as we have plans to continue stay in our current place (which is in laws' place) since their are main caregiver for our kids. .so we may leave our new flat vacant for first 1~2 yrs..

Sorry for the delay. The 2018 data will be out when I get off my butt. I have it but it takes time to get it into our system and I've been idle. It should be ready in the next few weeks.

Are you thinking of using your current or new address for registering? Since you will get your new flat in a year's time, I think you bring your documents and show them to the registration staff in person.
