              MKS,
You’re gonna shift half yr house tonyr car? 😆

It’s getting more relaxing & warm as I’m meeting ano frd fr Spore who just arrd. Temp in Osaka is 4 deg & will be zero degrees tmr! :yikes:

These days getting so strange that I hardly meet her in Spore but wld bump into her. We’re planning to hv dinner at Osaka - just 2 sets of couple!

Heard fr DS spending more time eating out back home & my girl hv to give him extra cash as he alr ran out of pocket money supposed to last till end of this week. :slapshead: Now DH hv to counsel both on budgeting for themselves & live within means.

:rotflmao: wont keep the breakfast bag inside car, will bring out when I reach home la..vits kept inside car got exposed to hot sun think not very good also. Yes I have many things..their lunch bag full full de..not only forgotten the vits also some other small snacks that I planned for them as today need stay back..

On budgeting, dds also still cannot manage..tried few times with dd, so happened few times have some fund raising activities, so used up..say, for good deeds de..younger dd better not first..wait go make trips to bookshop and buy sweet stuffs.

Esteema, since there for holiday..just enjoy it with yr dh la..still meeting Singapore friends arh..

                  MKS,

We can always accommodate time for frds. I never miss chance to hv time with frds. This couple good frd DH also pally with her DH. They always take care of my kids esp when young. Her older son was inspired to be a paediatrian bcoz of DS & I just did her youngest daughter wedding cake. DS was part of photography team.

For me, taking care to maintain frdships is more meaningful. DH & I don’t mind journey along the way meet frds. Really add to our memories & enjoyment.

As for putting things on car, our Spore sun & heat isn’t great for things in the car with greenhouse effect. We hv only a pen, notepad, GPS, small vacuum, picnic foldable stools & sunshade. Can’t even put sunglasses coz the heat will destroy the coating on the glasses. Mineral bottles cannot be kept in the heat & the chemical released fr the bottle can be toxic for our body system. DH don’t even allow anyone to eat in the car.

My DH too. Previously I allowed, when kiddo was much younger and needed snacks on long journeys to prevent crankiness. Then one day DH discovered tiny cockroaches running about in the car...he immediately sent car for disinfecting and thereafter banned all food and drinks (except water) 😢 It’s too bad cos lotsa times it’s easier for me to get drive-thru McD on the way to enrichments etc. Only single-handed mums will understand the hassle of finding parking and table during crowded weekends...

For me, eat relatively drier food in car is ok but not drink milk/yoghurt etc as very difficult to thoroughly clean it..but really can be smelly when eat burger..think it's the processed patties..when they opened up the tupperware to get the burger out..I was like what smell is that 😓 😂 I got to quickly wind down window for awhile..guess it will ve like this for the rest of the year la..let them have few more minutes of sleep.
