IB is actually only the last 2 years before applying for unversity. Some international schools may use an IB \"Middle Years\" programme but that isn't necessary, although it may prepare students better for IB. Students can go from O level to IB as well. So there is no need to make the decision about that after PSLE, actually.
I am trying to get more information for P6 student going to IB after their PSLE. Need help with the below queries I have
1) Do we still need MOE's approval
2)Criteria?
3)Tried reading HC International , ACS International and SJI International , is it true that they only offer to students who finish their 'O' level.
Thanks
In terms of MOE approval, if you wish to go to the 3 schools you mention, I don't think you need it. But Singaporeans who wish to attend a foreign international school (eg. American school, UWC etc.) do need approval, I think. You should either call one of those schools or MOE's customer service hotline to check. -
That is right, to join those 3 schools after PSLE, one does not need MOE approval.
In HCIS, you decide whether to do IB at end of Year 3, so that you will go on to do Pre IB at Year 4 and then do the IB at Year 5 and Year 6.
The website is actually quite clear, you should try reading it again. -
What happens if I wanna put my girl in IB middle years programme? Cos the 3 schools only offer the pre-uni IB right?

Seems like only 8 international schools offer it in Singapore, so you will need MOE approval if you want to put your daughter in one of those schools. See below:
