            Hi all,

Just wondering if it is too late for my son who is in K2 this year to start CMA?
Usually, how long does it take to master 2 to 3 digits mental addition and subtraction?
            Thanks!

I reckon the best time for most kids is around K1 to P2. K1 cos that’s when they can be more serious and have basic ability to write numbers, anytime before that it may not be as effective. P2 cos that’s when schoolwork is still relatively light, beyond that they might get really busy.

In short, starting now (K2) shouldn’t be too late if your aim is for your kid to gain an affinity to numbers.

My aim is to strengthen his mental calculation before he enters P1. Will 6 months be sufficient to achieve that?

And also to activate his left and right brain.

                  Thanks!
