bluepencil,

yr dc last paper is tomorrow right? same here...finally can take a breather now that they are in bed...

no more mugging from tomorrow onwards, take a short break... 🕺

Time to face the reality when the results are returned 1 by 1 from tomorrow onwards.

tryourbest, yes indeed, phew. the house became hurricane house, books and papers everywhere, the tidying after that is just as tedious.
Anyway we already planned to go for a good lunch after school tomorrow. sweat what a gruelling week! Enjoy your short break! :rahrah:

      Hi bluepencil & tryourbest,

since exam just ended today, can bring your kid out, watch a nice movie in town called \"a dog journey\". A nice, meaningful family movie about a dog named bailey, can watch trailer here, enjoy 🙂

      http://www.cinema.com.my/movies/details.aspx?search=2019.13633.adogsjourney.27229&lang=eng&section=trailer#trailer
Yes planning to watch this ! 🙂

Thanks! Hubby also pointed out that there must be some summary report generated and suitable human intervention. But is such human intervention applicable to actual Psle as well? Don’t mean skipping one line kind of mistake, more of those shading not complete or out of oval kind of errors.

Yup, human intervention is still applicable to actual PSLE OAS scanning, as long as the actual choice is obvious and no ambiguity. The most common case is even after erasing, the shading of initial choice is still pretty dark (either those students used darker shade than 2B or used '牛力' 😂).

As you will notice in the https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=81235&start=2690#p1910500, the circles are in a blue rectangle. If the out of oval falls within that area and doesn't overlap into another circle then the machine is 'smart' enough to ignore the imperfection.

Thanks! V useful information to know

I notice for dd, after so long of tuition, there are so much basics not caught..haiz..like you all say, target weakness areas, one by one lor.

          which subjects?

eng lor...after sky touched on marks per section, I looked at past SAs, Paper 2 very bad.
Same for dd. sometimes i dont really trust centres. dd used to attend english tuition at centre but i pulled her out after P5 Ca1 when i noticed she did not even know how to apply the grammar rules. Maybe she never pay attention in class and during tuition. i just make her practise at home since then. Not as if my English is good, but we learn along the way. Can see a gradual improvement in dd. But A* is out of reach for her.

I believe mine too..just that I dont dare to pull her out as that's her weakest, better than none that kinda of thing.. know I m not a discipline person..this subj is one that almost non stop tuition de..sci/ma never tried tuition for time and $ concern..chi is to get her non stop getting in touch of subj..I let her handle 100% of both since start...in between alot of time is wasting money I find..the younger one, at least I try to make sure she does her tuition hw though not really into guiding her..

Your dd is already coping well without your guidance and no ma/sci tuition!

              Don’t worry MKS.
