If your child is in P5 now, MOE can’t possibly change the English syllabus in P6. Any changes, so far, I noticed always start from P1. I can’t recall any changes made at P2, P4 and P6.

One of the Pri 5 SA1 CL picture compo is on 2 boys playing catching on the MRT station platform before knocking down an old lady. Ended with one of the boy asking his friend to escape.
Meanwhile, one of the school's Pri 5 SA1 oral topic this year was 懂得与他人分享 (video was about sharing with siblings).

Chinese Oral topics for day 1 and day 2 were 诚实 (偷窃抢) and 分享. These are topics covered in textbook chapter 4 and 5.
