14 days to go till prelim oral. Very sweat. Everyday cover a bit, hopefully we can make it. :xedfingers:

actually prelims is the trial run...shouldn't sweat over it
I remember my girl did quite well for prelim coz it was overall quite easy...but was so burnt out after that....so my advice is to time your final burst.

        All the best!

:thankyou: for your advice. Appreciated. How to tell if my child have reached the point of burnout?

I heard from a tutor re burning out.. She mentioned like papers every day till quite late at night, no finish no sleep.. and marks consistently high (this abit err..coz some kids score consistently high lei why only snap during psle lei :? )

I find our problem is more on after an exam..mode will turn to jolly happy..released.. like ready to party lor (for dd is story books)..not as if already study very hard prior lei..

45 is very good! Dd has nvr achieved such scores for Chinese Oral! If she can get this score, I'll be over the moon.

problem comes when psle is just like one mth after prelim lor..this time must not let her relax for too long, cannot afford to..yesterday's I start updating the psle days on her calendar..I asked her to choose few books and give to me, I will help her plan her revision..coz everytime I mention psle she asked me not to mentiin.. say stress wor..then I told her better plan then..just identified the books and read finish at least will feel more prepare I believe la..if not..always look at the laptop do online stuff, no plan, no 'structure' will likely cause stress I think. I told her can forget abt reading all/most books we have at home, simply overwhelming de..
