If is Prelim Oral, internal within your own school, u can approach your school lao shi, see if can re- arrange another day, because after all, Prelim Oral is one to one (solo). Besides, is Prelim Oral, not PSLE Oral. Anything that is internal, within your own primary school matter, easier to approach, discuss. Just tell your school the Truth, they will understand
But, NUS High Selection camp test need your son to interact with other peers, in a group, because that is how they going to assess (evaulate) your son, inside a group situation. They need a group situation. Harder to change.
Guess I got to ask my boy to approach his teacher in the event he got shortlisted for interview. I am still thinking if NUS High will reschedule as we have come to far and it's so so wasted if we will to give up at this stage.
Guess we got to wait for the status update. Should be out by this week as interview is stated to be conducted on 30 July. -

Don't know if they change it this year ... in the past, those who have to attend the interview are the borderline cases (interview with Principal/Vice-Principal to confirm). The majority, confirm in or out, does not have to attend interview. -

NUS High - Selection Interview –> Is it group based or individual ? I read from DSA 2018 thread, 8 panels and 6 students - quite did not understand what is the meaning of this…I know it makes the number close to 100 for two batches, but group based or individual interview ?

Last yr interview is individual. There are 2 batches close to 100 student went for the interview. -
