Based on my son's observation, he said:

          There r 4 colour group. Each colour group has 8 team, each team has 2 sub-group A n B. Every sub-group has 7 member.

          So total 4 x 8 x 2 x 7 = 448

That's how he deduced 448 students participated in this year camp😂

From what I understand of my kid’s selection year (PSLE 2017),

there is the notification call for interview for candidates they are still deciding upon ; either to understand the candidate profile better or to understand why results are somewhat inconsistent between school results and their selection test /camp outcomes. This school is very child centered so they want to find the best fit.

2 cohorts of xxx students are seen in an earlier and a later session slot. Each session has a few panels and each panel will see around 6-8 students one on one in each session slot.

From there , there should be 3 possible outcomes if you are called to interview - accept , reject or waitlist.
For those with no interviews , there are 2 possible outcomes - accept or reject.

You are then notified on that specific date ( I suppose it will be 8 Aug this year ) together with all applicants . If process has not changed, then All applicants should know if they are accepted , waitlisted or rejected on 8 Aug .

Did you all submit the school progress report in your portfolio. Is it not already shared by MOE through the portal? I did not sumbit and worried now.

My advice is to let the school do their work in assessing whether your child fit the system. NUSH is not easy if your child is not really interested in Math and Science ... as they are targeted to complete \"O\" level Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology by end of year 2.

There is a reason why the school doesn't just use PSLE Math and Science grades for their admission, but do it mainly through DSA. I believe this is to ensure that whoever they offer CO should not have a problem coping with their syllabus.

And their culture is also quite different to many top secondary schools ... CCAs, modular system, interest groups, electives, and etc. But what I am most impressed with is that the seniors conducted small group of free lessons for the junior before SA.
