I keep hearing ur dd do online studies, I wonder how she does it haha...u mean she goes online to read up or those like mconline etc? My dd never do online studies, all hardcopies.
no la tryourbest..my home also most time like hurricane passed through de..now dd2 use the diningtable for hw lor..I also bought quite alot of books but sit on shelves..dd just like online studies lei..why arh..I asked her chers/tutor and esp chi cher says dont use laptop as no practice on writing mah..but dd very stubborn one.. got marks deduction on strokes/characters..haiz I have problem balancing myself actually..if I m into her studies, very difficult for me to pull out and do my other stuffs and that causes me alot of stress..unlike younger time when you can multitask.. I took quite sometime to achieve this peace lor.. looks like really too chill..I cant remember when is the prelim tho I checked recently. err...U don't call this an achievement...
it's mummy's previous \"hobby\" of going popular to buy n buy and many are left untouched too, hence the accumulation. I've banned myself from buying books already. Secondly, it just shows mummy has not been doing a gd job packing the house... :siam:
Peace is good, nowadays I also more peace cos dd simply don't have as much time to sit down with me to go through extra work. Compare to previous years, this year revise lesser together. -
yes those mconline/koolbits and also the chinese one…all school kids using those I believe… I m not sure abt the level of difficulties… but my guess is those should be not that difficult as in like those top sch papers right? I always tell dd to have more varieties mah…coz papers got different application type of qns?
to add …i think also because of 2 in 1 as she likes to listen to initially soothing piano music but now upgrade to songs liao…I always ask her if that will affect her absorption rate… she says no instead it helps to make her revision not so boring…but sure in between will get distracted de la. -

My girl’s school only started supplementary lessons this term.
Only 2x a week 1.5hrs
Homework is manageable but can’t fathom why they are still doing things like projects for SS etc.
Takes much time away. -
yeah I also heard project work for SS…some taking part in competition also need to do some work though not too much.

My sch has 2x per week for supplement. Term 3 onward cca replaced by supplement…loads of homeworks and reviews by sch…so i only go through 1 topic of mtl oral every nite…
