You should be mentally prepared that the odds of a successful appeal is unlikely to be high. There were 40+ applicants for 20 places in Phase 2B? Therefore, you can imagine that there are 20+ parents in the same position as you, all going for Phase 2C, where they could be joined by another 40 parents. I would imagine that all who failed at the ballot would want to appeal. The school can't possibly have 20 vacancies available.

Chance of getting into BTPS is generally quite good.

Thanks. Total of 31 vying for 21 seats. We are the unlucky 30% ones. So the only solution if get balloted out in 2C will be putting myself in waiting list and try for BTPS in 2cs?[/quote]Yes.
