          Sharing this:-

Asked if he worries about whether his son will make it to university since he did not head to junior college or polytechnic here, he said he would prefer his son go out to work before degree studies.

\"Dylan wasn't an A student to begin with. In fact, his teachers used to tell me that he must do better in some of his subjects, including maths. His O-level results were barely good enough for poly. But it didn't worry me, because I know his strengths lie elsewhere and I hoped studying in a different system and being on his own will build on his other strengths.''

Over the years, Dylan has helped to write and illustrate a book, The Big Red Dot, about self-discovery and self-belief and then marketed it at events, including a TEDx talk. He has also invented a plant-watering device and made unofficial T-shirts for the Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un summit here last year.

Dylan is so fortunate to have his parents believe in his dreams and has the means to send him to Finland for overseas study.

Those are the details that are often overlooked 😂

The proof of entry your child has received would have listed which day what oral subject they are being tested on.
                    https://i.ibb.co/kXbP9Zj/proofofentry2.jpg\">

1st batch will have be held back in school even after they have finished their exam for that day, until after 2nd batch have reported to school. 2nd batch's students can head back home once they have been tested.

On a sidenote, for kids taking train to school, it's good to brief them: https://www.seab.gov.sg/home/examinations/train-disruption-advice

My dd's Chinese teacher actually told the class that Day 1 PSLE Chinese Oral Batch normally has harder video but easier passage. While day 2 Batch , easier video but harder passage.... got such things? not standardized? :?

Abit pissed cos my dd has low confidence for video and passing such comments actually makes her even more nervous and gives her the mentality that her video is going to be difficult as she belongs to Day 1 Chinese batch.

What were past years Day 1 vs Day 2 videos? Was it really like what the teacher has commented? i'm skeptical ...
