Just trying to understand how it works.... For schools that are balloting; Does the number include PR who didnt manage/wasn't notified to move out and pick a safer school? Or MOE has excluded them out of the final tally?

Today’s MOE numbers shows the total number of applicants, including anyone who did not withdraw (SCs, PRs, every distance, even if they are disqualified).

Tomorrow’s update will tell you which distance category and citizenship status will be joining the balloting. If you are not in that category, that means you are either already in, or disqualified totally.[/quote]

Heard that MOE guidelines for the schools is not to reveal the breakdown of applicants, just refer everything to MOE website.

Actually looking at the website and the historical trend, can roughly tell already.

But if it is avaiable everyone can make an informed decision on whether to stay or withdraw and go for a school they have a shot at getting in. realistically what chance you have vs their wishful thinking to get in to a certain school. All these parents asking other fellow parents and nail biting and going from one school to another on last day can be greatly reduced. Easy for the schools too. They will get the number of applicants who actually wanna be there despite balloting, rain or shine no need to answer so many calls and inquiries heh he.
That's my view

Going by the precedence, I am 99.9% certain most (if not all) of the 44 applicants are within 1KM.

At least it's good that the vacancies has increased to 22, so still a 50% chance.
