Bidadari project was launched in 2016 / 2017. Majority of the kids that will be moving into the estate would still be swimming then. There may be a handful of kids ready for school but it shouldn't dramatically affect Maris' dynamics. The best way to check is to cross-reference Cedar Primary (still low numbers). Therefore, I would say it's not the Bidadari effect affecting Maris at the moment.

But the Bidadari effect will come... soon.

If applicants exactly same number as vacancies, no ballot. If the last applicant is a set of twins/triplets/quadruplets etc, also no ballot.

If even one more applicant than vacancies, ballot. It’s very clear cut. No leeway for the school to close one eye cos they have to answer to MOE.

Will MOE show the balloting status after today registration? Like how many SC <1km registered, how many SC >1km, etc. Thanks
