At this age, I’m not sure that they want parents to make such a big fuss? You may want to get people nearer his age, like siblings or friends, involved in deciding what he would like.

Probably throw a party with all his friends invited and give him a birthday gift that he really likes, depending on what he's into. That will make him happy for sure! Best of luck!
Not for sure. Take for example my DS. He rejected all my suggestions to hold birthday party from Primary 4 onwards
