My kid was not successful in the ballot for Hougang Primary which is just three blocks away from my home and it is unfortunate. :stupid:

I am now looking at Palm View Primary which is between 1km and 2km for me. From what I had seen for 2017 statistics, it should be safe. Do anyone have the statistics for 2018 applications?

2018 Dragon year: Palm View Primary did not have seats for 2CS. Balloting was conducted in phase 2C already, for PRs 1-2km.

Hi all, Unsuccessful at St Andrew's Junior...
Looking at Canossa Catholic and Geylang Methodist now...
Cant seems to find any infos on CCPS & GMPS also...
CCPS is a small cohort of 120 intake and left with 40 vacancies and and GMPS of 270 and left with 42 vacancies...
Is there anyone who has the above information on these 2 schools?
Or any advice will be greatly appreciated...

Go for the closest and the one without a need for a ballot for the distance of your home from the school

I agree. Both are good schools and similar to what you would get at SAJS. Pick the more convenient one.

It’s probably going for <1km as spillover from Nan Chiau is high. Find a backup.

Actually yckps dont have vacancy for 2CS? Any reason why you choose palmville?

imo, palm view is better than yck? am i mistaken? i would try palm view first in 2cs. :xedfingers:
