Not always true. It depends on school/ subject.
Always hear from friends, prelim is way much tougher than Psle, is this true? Can we assume if your kid can score the Prelim, the psle tscore shd be there right?
If you are talking about the \"popular\" primary schools, then in general yes (except for Science where even high ability kids found the PSLE paper more challenging than school's papers in certain years).
All the best to your twins! -
Hi mummy,
May I know for yesterday students who attended 2nd batch of oral released at what time? -

1 year tough, 1 year easy --> Definitely NOT true :slapshead:
gosh... if go by the myth that 1 year tough, 1 year easy, then 2019 will be tough :nailbite: :nailbite: :nailbite:
i heard from my gal's form teacher, last year PSLE was easy, so quite a number of students from their schools scores well, but difficult to get in to high COPs schools as the COPs has increased.
thats why she encourage my gal to do DSA this year. -
Students are out! Some grumpy faces… oh dear

Congrats on completing PSLE oral today. I was in the same situation in the prior years, tracking this forum and asking my kids how they had answered the oral questions etc. For those who feel that their kids did well, good job. For those who feel that their kids did not answer adequately or had too many prompts, do not be overly worried. Things may not be as bad as you would have thought eventually. Just to share, one of my gal fared terribly for cl oral as she received 6-7 prompts with 1-liner answer as she was not a conversant speaker to begin with plus the topic was unprepared to. During prelims or since P5, her cl oral always below 40. Eventually she still did well in CL for PSLE. So do not be overly worried and just move on to tackle other components
