she was averaging 70s for Science in P5. come P6, CA1 she got 50s, she was very upset. she mentioned her P6 teacher do not teach as good as her P5 science teacher. when students ask too many questions, the teacher will tell them to go ask their own tutor. :slapshead: :slapshead:
so she has to ask her tutor for help. SA1 managed to pull up to 60s.
then in term 3, the school have 'After school revision' session. and she say she wants to approach her P5 science teacher for help, and luckily, the P5 science teacher allows her to join in his supplementary class.
can see her confident is back, she was so low morale since CA1.

[/quote] wow congratulations! that is alot of improvement and I think as a parent (at least for me) seeing the marks steadily going up can give us a lot of confidence...and woah I see few schools releasing results so early..from ksp and also from dd's tuition friends.

she finished her science paper on Thurs, and Fri, it was return to them in class to check the marks.

ya, hope the kids can continue to do well for this last lap of their P6 journey. hopefully she can maintain this result for PSLE.

Hi wonderful souls,


Can I ask re Science. My son has been in his higher A’s but this time in Prelium he could nt complete the paper. aMarks are not yet out. He left 5 mks due to lack of time.

He tends to write long sentences. We also could not finish all SA2 papers for Science as we fell sick jus end July.

Anyways, we are doing the papers under time pressure now. Did the same for Math when he cudnt complete his SA1 paper and it worked and completed on time .

But any other strategies to share? He is generally good with his concepts and going thru notes can be boring. How else can we revise science application? Just go thru verbally all the mistakes I guess of all papers done? Anything else?
