That's why when someone said mainstreamers got \"equal\" chance for DSA in top schools as Geppers, I do not think it is not really true. A lot of \"top' mainstreamers get into top school via their PSLE score, not DSA as those places are taken up mainly by Geppers.

Granted, there is always this argument of Geppers having a more rigorous P4-P6 with their enhanced and project-based curriculum. However, to determine if a child is gifted with just 1 P3 streaming exams and accord them the \"privilege\" is not exactly a fair system. I have seen so many truly gifted child being \"by-pass\" by this system, and the \"hothouse\" ones get the privilege. :shock:

When you are my age, you will learnt that many things in this world are sooooo unfair.
From all your posts, can tell that you are really ‘infatuated’ with RI. I wish you all the best in your application to RI.
Just bear in mind, RI need not necessarily be your ‘one and only’ choice to set your eyes on. But alas, I know ‘deeply infatuated’ youngsters like yourself will turn a deaf ear to this advice.
